Disclaimer
Effective 15 October 2026.
Vector helps you think about direction. It doesn't make the decision for you, and it can be wrong. This page says plainly where its limits are.
Not professional advice
Nothing Vector shows you is career counselling, academic advice, or financial or legal advice from a qualified professional. For a decision that matters, like changing your branch, dropping a course or turning down an offer, talk to someone who knows your situation.
Not a clinical assessment
Our onboarding questions were written with input from psychiatrists, but answering them isn't a medical, psychological or psychiatric assessment, and nothing Vector tells you is a diagnosis. If you're struggling with stress, anxiety or your mental health, please reach out to a professional. In India you can call Tele-MANAS, the government's free mental-health helpline, on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416, any time.
AI can be wrong
Field fit, plans, project suggestions, task checks and chat replies are generated by an AI model. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or confidently wrong. Treat them as a starting point to check, not a verdict.
No guaranteed outcomes
Vector makes no promise about grades, internships, placements, jobs or salaries. What happens depends on you, your circumstances and plenty that no one controls.
Task checks aren't certification
When Vector marks a task as verified against your GitHub work, that's an automated reading of public commits for your own tracking. It isn't a credential, and it doesn't vouch for your skills to anyone else.
Other people's material
Roadmaps and learning resources come from established public sources, and we name them. They belong to their authors, we don't control them, and they can change or disappear. Linking to them isn't an endorsement of everything they say.
